The Master Key System: A Review
The Mastery Key System has been surrounded in controversy. Some writers feel it has little value, while others have found great wisdom. Written by Charles Haanel, this book is is life changing tool for anyone seeking the truth. This masterpiece has been sadly neglected in the face of other books.
The Master Key System was written as a correspondence course and not meant to be read in one sitting as a novel. There are 24 Chapters dealing with such things as Basics of Your Mind, The Creative Mind and Utilizing the Omnipotent Power. The course was meant to be mailed weekly and in the Master Key System you will find references to this fact.
F. H. Burgess sets the stage for the tone of the book and states in the Introduction. He explains: "The “Master Key” is here given to the world as a means of tapping the great Cosmic Intelligence and attracting from it that which corresponds to the ambitions, and aspirations of each reader. " It is quite clear that Haanel had learned to tap into the Cosmic Consciousness
In The Master Key System Haanel explains:
"The attitude of mind necessarily depends upon what we think. Therefore, the secret of all power, all achievement and all possession depends upon our method of thinking….The world within is governed by mind. When we discover this world we shall find the solution for every problem, the cause for every effect; and since the world within is subject to our control, all laws of power and possession are also within our control."
Haanel's belief is clear: what you think becomes reality.
Clearly, Haanel's work explains the "Law of Attraction". He says: the real secret of all power depends on what we think. If we can think it, we can make it a reality. He also explains the difference between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind.
Haanel goes on to say, simply thinking is not enough. You need to direct your thoughts, "consciously, systematically, and constructively." Then you can tune your mind to what he calls "The Universal Mind" where you will tune into the infinite. You can then set into motion, the creative force of the universal mind: "The Law of Attraction."
The Master Key System, is not only the explanation of the Law of Attraction and it's power, in addidiotn, Haanel gives insight and practical methods to make this part of your own reality.
