Achievement – How What You Think Becomes Your Reality

Thoughts, like all things, are made up of energy. In any given moment, we have the choice of thinking thoughts that resonate with our desired outcome or thoughts that sabotage our desires by contributing energy in contrast to our desired outcome.
How can we determine whether our thoughts are resonant or discordant to our desired outcomes? By the way that they make us feel. A resonant thought vibrates in harmony with our desired outcome and we feel good. Sabotaging thoughts or thoughts that are discordant will feel awful and will ultimately take our energy down to a lower vibrational level which is now no longer in resonance with our desired outcome.
It does not matter if we believe that our thoughts are powerful or not — they are. Whether they are good, supportive, harmonious thoughts or whether they are not so good, un-supportive, disharmonious thoughts — it matters not which — the energy contained in those thoughts is being projected out into the future for us to run into at some future point.
If the thoughts were harmonious, our future experience will be likewise. If our thoughts were disharmonious or unpleasant, we will face that disharmonious or unpleasant energy in some future experience.
The most powerful time that we have is NOW. The time to change things is NOW. This is the only place that we CAN change things. We can not go into the past to make changes — we can not travel to the future to make changes. Luckily we do not have to. Any changes that we want in our experience we can formulate right now. How we live and THINK in our experience of NOW directly influences how our future "now" will show up.
If you KNOW what you want to ACHIEVE, you can almost ensure success by being diligent about your present moments. This does not mean that you have to be fanatical about your thoughts. Just be conscious of how you are feeling. Your feelings will be your greatest asset in determining whether you are setting yourself up to achieve your desires… or fail.
At first you may surprise yourself by the many instances that you catch yourself in unwanted thoughts or thoughts that take you in a direction away from your desires. Be patient with yourself. Be gentle. Know that each time you catch yourself and redirect your thoughts to better feeling ones, you are strengthening that neuro-pathway in your brain. As these pathways become more traveled, just like a well used foot pathway becomes more distinct, your ability to get back to or remain in harmonious thoughts will increase.
Just the realization that what you are thinking is contributing to and magnetizing to you experiences similar in nature to your thoughts should be enough to deter you from dabbling in unpleasantries.
