Unlocking Your Mind Power

Increase your self-awareness by learning new skills and making goals. Look at yourself and decide what changes you need to make in your life. Unlock your mind power and look deep inside at the real you. Ask yourself; what don’t you as if about the way you are?

Make a list of things that you’re not happy about yourself; and where do you want to go in life. Apply positive thinking skills and be truthful to yourself in order to improve and make goals for the future that will lead you to success.

When setting goals, we sometimes have to make changes in order to succeed. Setting goals and discovering success is never easy at the start of your journey, yet sometimes it if you continue to put forth effort you will find positive results of the road.

Using your mind power to overcome negative thoughts starts with you using affirmatives to say you can do anything you put your mind to do.

Your list of goals is now on paper making them more realistic. These goals are not just something you want; they are now something that you need to work for in order to succeed. With each goal you set, decide what you can and will do to make these goals real.

It is a challenge often when you want to set goals and make them real. First, you have to review your position as it stands now before you can attract success however. For instance, if you do not like your current job then decide what you can do to make it better. Is your current job too stressful; if so then maybe you need to find ways to get rid of some stress by changing the way you do things or try for another position? Remember if you fail at one position than try another one, we learn by making mistakes.

This is the first step to your own empowerment

Have Passion,Take Action

Here is a great affirmation you can say to yourself to help with attaining your goals.

Are You Passionate About Your Goals?

The most important thing is to not only have passion, but to take immediate action.

"I am passionate about my goals.

My passion drives me forward to live the life of my dreams. I know what I want in life and I set goals to get me there. I know that each goal I achieve brings me in union with what I desire. I feel truly invigorated with each success!

Meeting a goal, no matter how big or small, strengthens my confidence and self-esteem. I enjoy these feelings and strive to receive them as often as possible.

Setting and achieving goals is a never-ending circle of positivity that fuels my passion even more. My passion encourages me to persevere over obstacles and it is replenished and increased with every goal I complete.

My passion enables my success. I use tools to ignite and refuel my passion on a daily basis, even when I face challenges that try to smother it.

My tools include affirmations to transform negative thoughts into positive ones, meditation to relax and rejuvenate my energy, and notes and pictures to inspire and remind me of my goals.

Today, I choose to feel inspired by my passions and let the excitement propel me forward to achieve my goals, regardless of any challenges that may arise.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1.      Am I passionate about my goals?

2.      Where can I find additional inspiration?

3.      What task can I achieve today to fuel my passion and get me back on track toward my goals?"

Passion without action is nothing…

Remember always to temper that passion with your action.

What is the Premise of the Law of Attraction?

The theory behind the law of attraction is the belief that energy attracts like energy in the vast expanse of space and time that comprises our universe. Each person’s being is constantly radiating energy out into space; the type of energy being radiated is determined by the emotional state of the individual in question and may differ from day to day-sometimes even hour to hour!

This emotional energy is what is commonly known as a “vibe” and is referred to as a vibration by scientists studying the law of attraction. Chances are that you are familiar with the term. Have you ever been with someone who is so happy they seem to be radiating a “glow which inspires happiness in all those around them? By the same token, have you ever spent time with someone who was so critical and unhappy that they consistently gave off a “negative vibe” which seemed to suck the life and happiness out of all those around them?

You do not have to possess psychic powers to be able to feel the vibes that people emit; this energy is very real on a psychological plane and will affect anyone, anywhere at any time. Our vibrations are usually an unconscious response to some form of environmental stimulus; something has happened which has caused us to feel happy, or sad, or scared, or confused, or stressed, etc., and our subconscious response to this (because vibes are generated and projected from the subconscious rather than the conscious) is something that is beyond our control.

Chances are the person who is emitting a negative vibe does not choose to be unhappy, nor do they wish to inflict their unhappiness on all those around them by the simple fact of their presence. (Before you say what you are thinking, yes,  there are some exceptions to this rule. Misery does love company and there are many who take a great deal of delight in inflicting their pain on other people. It is important to understand that this is not usually done in a desire to cause others pain but out a desire to not feel so alone in their unhappiness.

James Allen: More As A Man Thinketh

A man’s mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed-seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.

Just as a gardener cultivates his plot, keeping it free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which he requires so may a man tend the garden of his mind, weeding out all the wrong, useless and impure thoughts, and cultivating toward perfection the flowers and fruits of right, useful and pure thoughts. By pursuing this process, a man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life.

He also reveals, within himself, the flaws of thought, and understands, with ever-increasing accuracy, how the thought-forces and mind elements operate in the shaping of character, circumstances, and destiny.

Thought and character are one, and as character can only manifest and discover itself through environment and circumstance, the outer conditions of a person’s life will always be found to be harmoniously related to his inner state. This does not mean that a man’s circumstances at any given time are an indication of his entire character, but that those circumstances are so intimately connected with some vital thought-element within himself that, for the time being, they are indispensable to his development.

Every man is where he is by the law of his being; the thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there, and in the arrangement of his life there is no element of chance, but all is the result of a law which cannot err. This is just as true of those who feel “out of harmony” with their surroundings as of those who are contented with them.

from James Allen "As A Man Thinketh"

Wallace Waddles On Getting Rich

Wallace Waddles speaks about how to get rich. He has great insigh into the whole process. In the following he describes what it takes to get rich.

"THERE is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arith-

metic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once

these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical

certainty.

The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a cer-

tain way; those who do things in this Certain Way, whether on purpose or acci-

dentally, get rich; while those who do not do things in this Certain Way, no matter

how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor.

It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects; and, therefore, any

man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.

That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts:

Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in certain

neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich,

while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would

roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty.

But everywhere we see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment,

and often engaged in the same vocations. When two men are in the same locality,

and in the same business, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows

that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment.

Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two men in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that

getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way.

And further, the ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to the pos-

session of talent, for many people who have great talent remain poor, while other

who have very little talent get rich.

Studying the people who have got rich, we find that they are an average lot in all

respects, having no greater talents and abilities than other men. It is evident that

they do not get rich because they possess talents and abilities that other men have

not, but because they happen to do things in a Certain Way.

Getting rich is not the result of saving, or “thrift”; many very penurious people are

poor, while free spenders often get rich.

Nor is getting rich due to doing things which others fail to do; for two men in the

same business often do almost exactly the same things, and one gets rich while

the other remains poor or becomes bankrupt.

From all these things, we must come to the conclusion that getting rich is the re-

sult of doing things in a Certain Way.

If getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way, and if like causes

always produce like effects, then any man or woman who can do things in that

way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the domain of exact

science.

The question arises here, whether this Certain Way may not be so difficult that

only a few may follow it. This cannot be true, as we have seen, so far as natural

ability is concerned. Talented people get rich, and blockheads get rich; intellec-

tually brilliant people get rich, and very stupid people get rich; physically strong

people get rich, and weak and sickly people get rich.

Some degree of ability to think and understand is, of course, essential; but in so

far natural ability is concerned, any man or woman who has sense enough to read

and understand these words can certainly get rich.

Also, we have seen that it is not a matter of environment. Location counts for

something; one would not go to the heart of the Sahara and expect to do success-

ful business.

Getting rich involves the necessity of dealing with men, and of being where there

are people to deal with; and if these people are inclined to deal in the way you

want to deal, so much the better. But that is about as far as environment goes.

If anybody else in your town can get rich, so can you; and if anybody else in your

state can get rich, so can you.

Again, it is not a matter of choosing some particular business or profession.

People get rich in every business, and in every profession; while their next-door

neighbors in the same vocation remain in poverty.

It is true that you will do best in a business which you like, and which is congenial

to you; and if you have certain talents which are well developed, you will do best

in a business which calls for the exercise of those talents."
